Scott, Joyce & Jenny
Scott and Joyce found the Upstate of SC in 2017 and decided to make it home in 2018. Our daughter, Jenny, made the move in 2019. We’re from California and have various backgrounds in sales, internet marketing and retail management. All three of us are driven by dreams and big ideas and share of the joy of meeting and serving people. After settling into our neighborhood and community, we felt the desire to give something special to the town. So, through hard work and determination, we created Cowpens Coffee & Creamery. We’re overwhelmed and humbled by the generous support of this town and will always do our best to serve with sincere joy in our hearts.

Chelsey has been with our team for three years and serves as our Store Manager, overseeing daily operations and ordering to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Her attention to detail, organization, and steady leadership play a huge role in the consistency and care our customers experience each day.

Outside of work, Chelsey enjoys anime, K-pop, gaming, and crafting. While she may not be a coffee drinker, she’s always happy with a glass of sweet tea in hand. Chelsey brings creativity, reliability, and a thoughtful approach to everything she does, making her an essential part of our shop.

Alissa has been with our team for almost three years and is one of our managers, overseeing the ice cream side of our business. She plays a key role in creating our seasonal menus—brainstorming with the team to bring fresh ideas to life—and carefully prepares our weekly Hershey’s ice cream orders to keep everything running smoothly.

Outside of the shop, Alissa enjoys anime, spending time with her nephew, Colson, and her dog, Pepper. Her attention to detail, and love for teamwork help make our ice cream offerings something special for our community.
Maggie (or Mags!)

Maggie has been a part of our team for almost three years, bringing consistency, heart, and a genuine love for serving others into the shop every day.
Outside of the shop, Maggie also serves in the evenings at Texas Roadhouse. She’s always the first to volunteer for community events, never misses a chance to dress up for themed nights, and

When she’s not working, Maggie loves reading and spending time with her dog, Dixie.

Caroline has been part of our team since March 2024 and works with us seasonally while attending Clemson University, where she is currently in her freshman year. She brings a thoughtful, organized, and reliable presence to the shop and is always looking for ways to help improve our processes and guest experience.

Caroline’s creativity shines through in her work, especially when helping write our menu boards, and it’s just as evident in her personal style, from her fashion to her nails. We’re grateful for the care and fresh perspective she brings back with her whenever she’s home.
